two sides of one coin.

stp, you make me feel content. you make me feel like minorities are going to get me sometimes too. i felt full last nite after dinner, you make the greasiest hamburgers et i love you for it. stp, i remember you in como in the nineties, you seemed so pristine then. you seemed so big before i grew up et learned about your twin. stp, ive been running along your old rondo now for a couple of years.

saint paul, university and grand avenues are your limbs. university is black; in a figurative and physical regard. grand is so white, literally. the expanse from north to south is small; how is it so visible? as i travel the university bus i am taunted as another privileged, pretty white girl. as i ride it's southern mate there is no taunting, no teasing, fewer bag ladies. saint paul, how do you explain the discrepancy from north to south? homes are piles of shit; then i cross your great divide. homes are remnants of eras with greater craftsmanship, then i walk north.

what was rondo before it became this thoroughfare?

oh the generality.

4.28.08.

here we are:
-a-yet another bitching same same same as ever day.
(who'd have guessed?)
-b-once more finding nothing to occupy my mind.
-c-longing for something more.

^what is a girl to do?^
